- Yay! I scored a next-to-new Barker subframe from the the Internets. It weighs 3 pounds. The old subframe, which I might add was engineered in Germany, feels like it weighs 75 pounds if you hold it in front of you with your arm outstretched fully. T...
- Changing out the subframes turned into a big, hairy project. All the electrics needed for safe motorcycle operation on the street were removed. I opened the wiring loom to pull out the wires not needed. I reckon I saved another 68 pounds or so. Lo...
- I've perfectly arranged these wires to replicate a road map of northern New Jersey.
- Three of my favorite liquids: D.G. Yuengling, Brakekleen, and Goo Gone. In a pinch, all of them can be used in pretty much the same way... As for the starter, I took it apart just to see if I could get it back together. The brushes were tricky.
- New battery "box" made of 1/8" aluminum stock purchased at Stanley's Hardware on Ridge Ave.

- His friends call him Bib. I googled it, that's how I know.
- Looks like Gitmo has a work-release program!
- Some photographer was sniffing Brakekleen again, and it wasn't me!
- Not sure if this photo adds anything to the party...
- This is my 2nd attempt at fabricating the airbox. V. 1 had a flat piece of metal, but it wouldn't stick to the plastic.
- I used a saw and cut off about 2/3rds of the stock battery/air box. I used RTV silicone to glue a flat piece of aluminum on, but it ended up coming apart.
- It was Lenny's idea to put flaps on the aluminum and fasten with rivets. I guess it's all those paper dolls he had as a kid...
- It's what I call a "low profile" stock airbox. When its on the bike, you can't tell it's there because its hidden behind the frame.
